We follow a rigorous process for each translation project, which includes:
Text analysis
An analysis of the text helps us to understand its purpose and identify any challenges that it will present during translation.
Depending on what you aim to communicate with your documents, their function and how they will be used, together we’ll choose the most suitable service and assign the translators and proofreaders with the best expertise in the field concerned.
Preparation of files
To facilitate the translation process, we provide our external teams with pre-formatted files and a specific termbase for the area and/or client concerned.
Research
This is a crucial step in the translation of any document. Why? Because the translator needs to read texts, in both the source and target language, other than those that have to be translated, in order to gain a deeper understanding of the subject and ensure that terms commonly used in the target language are selected.
This is why we choose to work with translators who specialise in a number of specific fields, in order to provide you with a top-quality, flawlessly written translation.

This involves transferring meaning from one language to another, taking into account contextual and cultural norms.
Professional translators specialise in a limited number of fields and do not accept a translation project unless they have sufficient knowledge of the context. In addition, our teams of translators work exclusively into their respective native languages. This means we can guarantee that they will faithfully render the message of the text and that the translation will meet the expectations of the target audience.
Initial quality check before revision:
Before moving on to revision by a second expert, our in-house team checks that the document is complete and correctly formatted. Particular care is taken with documents containing figures or numbers.
Revision
Every translation is reviewed by a second specialist to ensure proper understanding of the text, terminological accuracy and the consistency of the document.
While this additional step is always suggested, it is not always required, as the checks conducted by our in-house team already offer a very high level of quality assurance for our clients. Nevertheless, we recommend maintaining this additional quality assurance step for your project when the documents are particularly complex or sensitive. This revision should be carried out by a second expert who is just as familiar as the translator with the field concerned. This step involves comparing the original with the translation, verifying that everything has been properly understood, ensuring that the translation is free of errors and, where necessary, correcting it.
For documents that are particularly expressive and/or persuasive (advertising, speeches, etc.), we advise choosing an editor instead, to ensure that the translation uses the correct tone and will have the intended impact (creative translation, also called transcreation).
Final validation
Before the translation is delivered to you, we perform one last in-house check of the translated and revised document. Any changes made by the reviser are communicated to the translator and recorded in our CAT database.
